Why is PPTX well suited to fixed-layout HTML?
OOXML stores explicit slide dimensions and object coordinates. ImgIng follows the original ratio, z-order, rotation, fill, stroke, text, image and table geometry. Common charts and SmartArt use HTML / SVG or static snapshots instead of flattening every slide by default.
Why does the output open independently?
Pages, styles, images, chart snapshots and required fonts live directly in one HTML. The original PPTX and converter are not distributed with it. Static page content is present before any script; the compact viewer only adds navigation, zoom, search, fullscreen and printing.
What happens to animation, video and embedded objects?
This is a read-only static export. Macros are never executed, OLE programs are not copied, and PowerPoint timelines, transitions, 3D models, DRM media and interactive controls are not claimed as preserved. Visible static appearances are retained where possible and affected slides are reported.
How are clarity and size balanced?
Text and shapes remain HTML / SVG, source media is reused, and only Canvas content must be frozen to PNG. The parser stays out of the result, avoiding more than a megabyte of runtime in every exported file. Clear and Close release presentation models, page trees and object URLs.

Is the PPTX uploaded?
No. Package checks, reconstruction, preview and single-file packaging all happen locally.
Are animation and video retained?
The current output is a static read-only representation. Timelines, transitions, video, 3D and embedded programs do not run; any static fallback is reported for review.
Does the converter turn every slide into a large image?
No. Text, shapes and most charts stay as HTML / SVG. Only Canvas or otherwise non-portable content is snapshotted.
